At Incheon International Airport |
Day 1- Seoul, South Korea
Our first day was going to Gyeongbokgung Palace. I learned so many
things from Gyeongbokgung Palace even the history of this palace. The
palace was first constructed in 1395 at the early days of the Joseon
Dynasty. Taejo was the king during the original construction. The name
Gyeongbok means “Greatly Blessed by Heaven.” There are Geunjeongjeon
Hall, Gyeonghoeru Pavilion, and Hyangwonjeong Pavilion inside Gyeonbokgung Palace.
Day 2- Jeju Island
We went to Jeju Island. Jeju Island is known as ‘Island of three
abundances’. The three abundances refers to are the wind, rocks and women. The
women are said to be extremely beautiful but it’s true for me There are stone statues known as ‘dolharubang’
which means ‘stone grandfather’. The highest mountain in South Korea,
Hallasan (Halla Mountain), is located on Jeju Island.
Our first trip place is Jeju island. We had to take another airplane to go
to Jeju Island. It took us about 1 hour. The wind is so strong in Jeju until my
lips were so dry. I saw lots of lots of women in Jeju. The women are said to be
extremely beautiful. There are also stone statues known as ‘dolharubang’ which
means ‘stone grandfather’. It’s amazing to see Dolharubang everywhere in Jeju.
The statues were quite funny but cool at the same.
We also went to the teddy bear museum in Seoul, Korea. There were a lot of
cute teddy bears.
